This is the frame-type variant of the LED cooling bracket. EDT Diecasting Technology (Suzhou) casts it to the customer optical and structural concept: the frame carries and locates several LED units, with cooling fins, mounting tabs and stiffening features around the perimeter to keep weight down while maintaining rigidity.
Large frame in one piece — The long frame is cast as a single part instead of joined extrusions, removing weak joints and accumulated assembly error.
Perimeter cooling fins — Fins around the frame use internal airflow and the housing conduction path to support overall thermal management.
Mounting tabs and location — Tabs, dowel holes and screw bosses are formed together for straightforward lamp assembly and optical alignment.
Rigidity and vibration — Ribs raise vibration resistance against continuous road vibration and thermal cycling.
Low weight — Aluminium and variable wall thickness cut lamp weight while stiffness targets are met.
Distortion along the long edges and flatness are the main challenges. Flow analysis optimises gating and cooling, a straightening step controls distortion, and mounting faces and locating holes are machined to drawing. Finished parts are checked for flatness, hole position and appearance, with sand blasting or painting as specified.
Used for headlamp and tail lamp frames, LED module carriers and daytime running light frames, and also for industrial luminaires and other frame-type cooling structures.
